Malone’s home run helps Heritage top Lenoir City, 8-3

It took the Heritage Mountaineers almost four innings to score their first run against Lenoir City on Wednesday, but once Brandon Malone sent a home run deep over the center-field wall, the floodgates opened up.
“I just wanted to get something started,” Malone said.
It worked, and the Mountaineers went on to score three more runs in the inning, eventually winning big over the visiting Panthers, 8-3.
