Heritage falls, 12-11, to Sullivan South before rain stalls Classic

Fortunes followed the weather for Heritage in its 12-11 loss in a Saturday morning contest with Sullivan South in The Daily Times Baseball Classic.
Under sunny skies, the Mountaineers (15-12) pulled out to a 6-1 lead after three innings, but the rains and the visiting Rebels (13-12) both came on strongly from that point, with the visitors breaking an 11-11 tie with a walk-off single in the bottom of the time-ruled six inning contest.
